If she sees this I hope she realizes that asking if I cycled my tank 4 times in an accusatory way during our short interaction but then not knowing how to determine the sex of a guppy is not a very good look. Some of us do our homework before buying a living thing. Maybe you should for your job.
I applied for a cashier position at the store in my town and I didn't hear anything back so I went in to see what the deal was with my application. After waiting for the one guy to reach the manager on duty who wasn't answering her headset, he had to go find her. Finally she comes out and tells me they are fully staffed and they're not hiring at the moment but they'll keep it on file. Later I went online to check for jobs to apply for and they have at least 15 posts for employment on the site i went on. Later that evening I went to pick my husband up from work and went to TJ Maxx to pick up an application. As I drove by petsmart (they're in the same strip mall building) I see their sign saying they're still hiring! So when I got home I called them and after letting the phone ring about 10 or more times, I told the manager that lying to me about whether or not they're hiring instead of telling me the truth, was extremely unprofessional. After avoiding my questions and redirecting the subject multiple times, She tells me that calling her to yell and cuss at her (I didn't cuss. I made double sure of that) was unprofessional and hung up on me. I always have a hard time finding anyone who is available to help me whenever I go there.
Clean, sharp looking store! Groomers are great and customer service is stellar! My dog looks forward to the FUN training class too.
I have been there a few times for supplies for my betta fish that I bought there when they first opened. Very nice and clean, and they seem knowledgeable about betas. They could use more help getting fish for people.
It's nice to have a pet store chain. Prices are high on some items, great on other items. My daughter bought fish and they all died from ick. Took them back and an associate said they're having issues with where they get their fish from. Frustrating but also nice they offer a 14 day return.
I’ve never had a good experience going here. Employees were rude and not knowledgeable. Stock is not great. In just one of the bad experiences I’ve had here I had wanted two female guppies and a male after being rudely snippy the entire time she was helping me the employee said “well I don’t know how to tell them apart so you’re going to get whatever I can get in my net”. I had to, kindly as I could, explain that the males and females were kept in two completely different tanks clearly labeled male and female fancy guppys. Nevermind the fact that guppies are some of the easiest fish to sex by eye. Within a week two were dead most likely because of her very rough handling at the store getting them out of the tank and into the bag. I was a loyal customer of the petsmart in St. Cloud. Bought many of my pets there and most of my supplies... I was so excited for this opening in brainerd but this store is a huge disappointment.
