FOLLOW UP: The Doc said I would hear from them the next day, and I did. Sometimes us patients have to call the Dr. office to figure out why we haven't been contacted. That wasn't the case with my visit.
I had surgery on my ankle two weeks ago and I ended up getting hurt at the event we were at and needed to go to urgent care. The reason I am giving the one star is because of the care I got from the doctor. The doctor walks in and didn't understand why I had stitches in my ankle. I explained what kind of surgery I had and what had happened at the event. My ankle and foot was so swollen that my shoe wouldn't even go back on my foot and I could hardly put any weight on it. She goes to look at my ankle and wraps her hand around my ankle, exactly where my stitches are and squeezed. I instantly bursted out in tears and then she ordered X-rays. After an hour of waiting for X-rays (remind you, there was no one else at the facility at that time) she comes in and just says to wear this boot. Didn't tell me what the x-ray showed or what the problem was! I left with no paperwork or anything to show my provider in my hometown. I never had a doctor treat me so much like a child and she even kept calling my husband and I kids... remind you, were almost 30 year olds and have a child! I would never see this doctor again, her bedside manner was completely rude and what she did to my ankle, knowing that I just had surgery was uncalled for. The staff up front and the nurses were great and respectful, but this doctor completely made my pain worse and did not help me at all!
Had to go to urgent care for my son while visiting a cabin in the area. We got in and out very quickly and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Maybe it was the time of the day, but I was blown away by the efficiency of this Urgent Care clinic. The longest part of my visit was registration and talking with a doctor (about drones, a mutual hobby we shared).
ACCURATE: The doctor ran the right tests, and gave a possible other option (viral which took care of itself).
FAST: If you want to get in and out quick you will be amazed. I didn't even have time to cross my legs before I got called into be seen.
Hopefully I won't have to visit again, but if I do it will be a good experience.
FRIENDLY: From the first face that greeted me at registration, to the nurse, doctor and lab every individual I met was very kind.
