No one ever came. No one ever called.
Called our home warranty company because we had a leak. They submitted a service request with Randys Plumbing. Two days went by, and zero response. I called Randys Plumbing... no one would answer. So I called Home warranty company back, Rep apologized and said he would contact Randys Plumbing. Home warranty rep called back 15min later and said he was told Randys Plumbing didn't get the email. He said they would call me no later than 2 hours. They did call me and we scheduled a time for me to be home so they could fix it.
Randy has been a life saver. No one asked me to write this review. When I call, he comes. When I needed someone who accepted American Home Shield as a warranty, he did with no hassle. I would highly recommend Randy based on my own experiences with him.
Waited another day. .. again no one came and no one called.
I get that its not a big plumbing job, but when people arrange their schedules to make sure we are there to meet you, its only common courtesy to at least call if you can't make it. Or if you don't want that type of work, then dont sign up to be a home warranty service provider.
Finally tonight called Home warranty company and they have transferred it to another plumber.
Randy came to our home in the Brainerd area to look at an issue with a shallow well pump that supplies water to a guest house. It would not hold a prime, but was not leaking. He was able to prime the pump, inspect fittings and it worked temporarily. He did not find the problem as it continued to reoccur. We paid him $100 for the call of less than one hour. He did no major work or repair. He told us to call if the problem persisted and he would try to figure out the issue. We called and spoke with him three times. Each time he made and appointment and promised to return. He did not return although we waited for him as instructed. We left the room open as he instructed us to do so he could come "next Tuesday". He never came.He did not call to reschedule. He did not offer to rebate some of the money he charged us for not fixing the pump. We would never recommend him and we are filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Brainerd.
We are very happy with Randy's plumbing. We had a split in one of our pipes at our cabin and he came out and fixed it right away. So happy we found Randy's plumbing for all of our cabin plumbing/winterizing/bathroom remodeling needs.
Randy came for evaluation to give me an estimate on the installation of a water softener and water filtration system. Nice guy. Even talked about installing a new pressure tank. Promised to contact me the next day or sometime during the weekend with an estimate. Called him after the weekend and he had a legitimate excuse as to why he didn't contact me. Assured me he would have an estimate "this week". Called him again the following week and was given another "will call you tomorrow". Never called me. Don't bother wasting your time with this one.
